Restore Older File Version

Cucku Backup keeps multiple versions of your backed up files, so that every different version of any file you backed up with Cucku is available. For general information about restoring files and starting the Restore Wizard see Restore Overview. For detailed help from any page of the Restore Wizard click Online Help on that page

  1. Run the Restore Wizard.
  2. Choose Restore from a local backup if your local backup is available. If you do not have a local backup then choose Restore from a backup partner or Restore from an imported backup. Click Next, check the locations available for restore and then click Next again.
  3. Click Choose one file or folder.
  4. Click Browse.
  5. Browse to the file that you'd like to restore. The version list at the bottom of the list now shows the available versions for restore. Each version is identified by a version number and the date and time the file was backed up. Choose the version to restore from the list and click OK. Click Next to continue.
  6. If you want to restore the file to the folder it was originally backed up from click Next. To restore the file to a different folder click Restore files to a different location. Click Browse to choose or create the folder for restore and then click Next to continue.
  7. Click Finish to restore the older version of the file.
