2.11 solves a compatibility problem with the current beta version of Skype (4.2). You should install Cucku Backup 2.11 before upgrading to Skype 4.2.

Cucku Backup 2.10 is now available for download.
We've made big improvements in both speed and memory consumption. Cucku uses far less CPU when idle and both local and remote backups run faster than in any previous version (our benchmark tests for CPU show a 90% reduction while idle and nearly 50% for local backup).
Cucku now supports backing up from and to more devices. Previous versions supported "external" drives, 2.10 now supports "removable" drives as well. This means you can backup your USB memory drive as well as other devices that can be accessed through a drive letter (many digital cameras, camcorders and GPS units).
A new To Do list guides you through completing your first local and remote backup. This step by step guide helps make it easier to get the best possible protection from Cucku Backup. We've also made it easier to add partners by allowing you to automatically send a Skype IM or email with download instructions when you invite a new partner.
Backup progress reporting has been improved. For example Cucku will let you know when it's preparing the system for a locked file backup. During remote backup you'll see if a large file is being processed before it can be sent to your backup partner.
2.10 officially supports Windows 7 RC (both 32-bit and 64-bit editions).
Lastly, we've fixed a number of bugs reported in 2.00. This includes a crash when removing files from a drive that no longer exists, improvements to the backup verification process (handling missing files) and a crash when calculating the size of a backup.

Cucku Backup v2.0 is now available for download.
From v2.0 there are two editions available. Cucku Backup continues to provide free remote backup to a single backup partner. Cucku Backup Pro introduces support for multiple backup partners. Both editions are contained in the download - you can upgrade from Cucku Backup to Cucku Backup Pro at any time.
Multiple partner support lets you be the backup hero for your family or group of friends. Pro lets you add as many partners as you like and supports up to five simultaneous backups from partners. You can also use Pro to send your backup to several partners.
Cucku Backup Pro costs just $49.95, and one license entitles you to install Pro on three computers using the same Cucku Account. Special upgrade pricing is available for existing customers for a limited time - sign in to your account to see if you qualify.
Version 2.0 also adds support for backup export and import. It's always been possible to connect to your backup partner over a local network or WiFi connection for fast remote backup and restore but this isn't always convenient. Backup export lets you securely place a copy of your backup on a USB memory drive or external hard drive. You can then give or post the export to your backup partner. After your partner imports the backup you only need to send new and changed files over the Internet. You can also export a partner's backup to use for speedy restore if they lose their local backup.
Backup export and import is available in both the Free and Pro editions of Cucku Backup.

Cucku Backup 1.21 is now available for download.
1.21 addresses a couple of problems found in 1.20: failure to install on certain Windows Vista configurations and failure to save updated partner or backup drive settings. 1.21 additionally improves the reliability of reconnecting to a partner after a connection is lost and improves responsiveness when calculating the difference between two versions of a file.

Cucku Backup 1.20 is now available for download.
Our main focus in 1.20 has been improving performance. Remote backup runs faster, up to 58% depending on the connection to your partner. The user interface is also more responsive, in particular when pausing/resuming a backup and when displaying a large number of files.
There are now more options for viewing remote backup progress. In addition to seeing the current transmission speed you can also choose to show the progress within the current file or the overall progress for the remote backup.
Backup and restore results are now logged to the Cucku Backup Event Log (Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer). This make it easy to review your backup history over time and see the size and number of files included in each backup. You can also now choose not to save the login details for your Cucku Account.

Cucku Backup 1.10 is available for download.
Cucku now supports exporting and importing encryption keys. Your Cucku Account already stores a secure copy of your encryption keys. This feature allows you to keep a backup copy available so that you can restore files even if you can't connect to your Cucku Account. If you prefer to manage your own keys it's also possible to generate keys that aren't stored in your Cucku Account.
