Verdana does not support style Regular

Verdana is a sans-serif font used by the Cucku application graphical user interface (GUI). The following variations of the font are installed on most Windows machines: Verdana (regular); Verdana Bold; Verdana Bold Italic and Verdana Italic.

The Verdana font set is part of Microsoft TrueType fonts. These are installed as part of Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and other Microsoft applications. You can purchase Verdana from: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/default.mspx
Other sites also off free downloads but use at your own risk. e.g. http://sourceforge.net/projects/corefonts/

If the Verdana font (regular) is missing from your machine you will get an error starting with the stack trace that follows.

System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException
Message: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
Data: System.Collections.ListDictionaryInternal
InnerException: System.ArgumentException: Font 'Verdana' does not support style 'Regular'.
at System.Drawing.Font.CreateNativeFont()

You can visually check the fonts folder in Control Panel (c:\windows\fonts) to see if Verdana is installed or not (note that the file will be called 'Verdana' and not 'Verdana Regular'.

To fix the problem you need to download the Verdana (regular) font on your machine. In Control Panel select Classic View and Right Click the fonts folder and select Install Font. Then browse to the downloaded fonts file and install it.

2.11 solves a compatibility problem with the current beta version of Skype (4.2). You should install Cucku Backup 2.11 before upgrading to Skype 4.2.
