Why don't you backup?
Most of us have suffered some form of data loss - a crashed hard drive, a stolen laptop, a lost memory stick - yet according to PC Pitstop more than a quarter of us never backup at all. Of those that do, almost half only backup monthly or yearly.
It's not your fault. According to another survey from Harris Interactive (PDF) the top reasons for not backing up include that it's too technical (44%), too time consuming (20%) and too expensive (14%).
We designed Cucku Backup to be easy to setup and use. Just one example is email. Cucku detects a range of email programs and automatically selects the right files to backup, including Outlook, Windows Mail, AOL and Thunderbird. It doesn't matter if you leave email open all the time - Cucku will still backup the right files. Better yet, after the first backup Cucku only stores the changes making it easy to backup every day.

Why Cucku?
It's not because we're mad. Some species of Cuckoo increase their odds of reproducing successfully by hiding their eggs in other birds' nests. Their eggs are camouflaged to look like they belong, and so the foster mother looks after them as if they were her own.
Cucku Backup applies the same principle to your files, spreading the risk so you can be confident they can't be lost in a single accident or disaster. Of course, unlike the Cuckoo, we always ask permission first.
